• Display Name: The name you choose to display to other players when you create or respond to quizzes.

• Device Identifier: A unique, anonymous identifier generated from your device to maintain your account without requiring email or password.
• Usage Data: Quiz scores, completion times, and app interactions to provide features like statistics and history.
• Technical Data: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses (unless you contact us directly)
• Phone numbers
• Location data
• Contacts or address book
• Photos or media (unless you explicitly share)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Enable quiz sharing between users

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• With Other Users: Your display name and quiz scores are visible to people you share quizzes with.
• Service Providers: We use Google Cloud Platform to host our services. They process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

• Quiz History: Quizzes are retained for 7 days of activity, after which they may be automatically archived.
• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account, or automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity.
• Inactive Accounts: Accounts with no quiz activity for 90 days are automatically deleted, including all associated data.
• Feedback: Retained indefinitely to improve the service.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app's Account settings. If you've already deleted the app and want your data removed immediately, email us at support@pingquiz.com.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform)
• Access controls and authentication
• Regular security reviews

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Ping Quiz is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at privacy@pingquiz.com.
